Favourite girl comes to town!

Katie's come to Armidale and I'm stoked!

Early Friday morning Kate and I left Forster and headed to Armi. we arrived at around 11am and was greeted by the ever beautiful laura - Katies first introduction for the day, and exactly as I suspected the two of them got along, dare I say, 'like a house on fire'. Kate then got the intro to Timmy [who was still in bed..haha] before long we were all chatting and laughing...Kate slots straight into life here, it's like she's always been a part of it all.
We headed out to lunch at the Kilda and by the end of the meal I had Tim completely mortified that I would talk of such things in public as I started a conversation about Phantom Poohs [Nods to Burks for that one ;)]

At around 6pm we got a call from Tim inviting all us girls up to the lads place for a BBQ, to which we were more than happy to oblige - never say no to a free feed.
We hung around for a good three or four hours playing some drinking games, though Jase was in charge of the deck of cards and you'd better believe he was making up his own rules :P but it was laugh worthy and most of the rules picked on Tim, so it was a hoot.

Brittany offered to drive us all across to the Newie at around 11pm and so we all shifted ourselves to a new venue, grabbed a table pretty quickly and had an absolute riot of a time. Great Great times!

Katie and I head back to Forster, we're thinking Tuesday. So I still have another 2 days to show her around my little world up here. Fantastic - looking forward to introducing her to the masses at Sunday night service, hoping to confuzzle some people by sending her into church with laura and Waje first, then watch them double take when I walk in a few minutes later. We don't look identical, but close enough to make people hesitate.

I love my Katie, always will.

Spontaneous Friday Evenings

Great night with my girl Loz.

We headed out at around 10:30pm to Nicks Party - eventually finding ourselves out at the Club hotel, then at the Whicklow, then back at the club, then over at the Kilda, before arriving at Tatts, before finding our resting place for the evening at the Newie. We hung around for a good couple of hours before deciding that the pub was dead and headed back to Lozza'a flat for a night cap. After a good half hour, we decided to treck it over to Nicks place in -1 degree temperatures.
For the rest of the evening we were highly entertained by the company of Sarah, Nick, and a few others. Highlight of the evening would have to be the game of Bolle` at 4am in the backyard in freezing temperatures. I love the Spontaneous moments of life.
Loz and Jez, ready to hit the town.

Loz and I didn't wander through the door till 7am, Loz still wearing Nicks jacket and both of us falling into bed, not even stirring until around 3pm today.
and how exactly was I woken? By the snuggled, stirrings of Dizzy, Tims new little kitten. He bought him about 2 days ago, one of the members of the 'last chance club' with the RSPCA. Dizzy is absolutely beautiful, with an incredibly affectionate and loving personality, I don't understand why he was still there for so long. But alas, we now have the pleasure of his company.

Mondays.

Mondays....Mondays, what a glorious day of the week.

I worked my timetable this year so I have no class on mondays, or fridays WoOt for 4 day weekends!!

At around 12pm today I rolled over lazily, as the sun streamed across my bed. For the next 15-20 minutes I dozed softly as I streched and sighed myself to a waking state.
I emerged from my room as around 1pm and wandered slowly down the hall to make myself a cup of green tea. As I re-entered my room to the soft hum of Emiliana Torrini singing "Today has been okay" my mobile buzzed lightly on my desk

Bree: 1:08pm; Hey Jez, just wondering if you've made your online posting for the week? remember, it's gotta be in by 5pm. Not sure why I messaged you this week, just had this feeling you'd forget. ah well, see ya 2moz.

So glad she decided to message me. I had forgotten.
Grabbed my student card and headed across to the Wrights Village comp. labs, and the stupid swipe machine wouldn't let me in!
Grabbed my car keys and decided to treck it up top. Turns out it was the best thing I could have decided to do.

As I'm wandering towards the Library, I hear this scratchy voice shrieking "Shut your mouth!" Turned around to find Tess grinning broadly behind me. She was of course quoting Rhen, which had me shaking my head due to the quinky-dink of it all. As I finished up my hug with Tessa, turned and there coming towards me was Rhen herself! crazy place, Uni is.
The gals headed up to the cafe, but I decided to not push my luck and decided to head up and do my online posting before anything else went wrong.
Of course there were no computers free, so I headed up to the next level of the library, and managed to find one of the catalogue pc's which apparantly are only to be used for cataloguing purposes. Well, today they were let loose on the internet! Yeeehaaa!
I'm sure that I'm not the first person to use them for something which they were not intended for. There was also a 5 minute limit on them, I was there for around an hour. No one else was waiting, so I figured I was cool.

Left the library and was headed up to the Cafe to see if, by chance, the girls were still there, and who should I bump into, but my dear friend Lozza! she convinces me to walk her to her class, attempts to convince me to actually come into her class. I nearly did, till I discovered who her lecturer was and more over, that they were doing comp work. I knew that I would end up on messenger or checking emails and would promptly be kicked from the class. So instead here I am. In the room next door.

HAHA!

Oh how I ammuse myself. Just went for a walk past Lozza's window, on my way to the toilet. Didn't realise that Tims in there too. On my way back I spent a couple of minutes ammusing the pair by doing escalators, lifts and stairs in front of the little window. Twas cool, till other people started watching and the laughs began to draw the attention of the lecturer, who I know for a fact generally doesn't get my humour. Needless to say I decided, enough was enough.

So yes. I'm waiting for Loz and Tim to finish their class at 5pm. I'll give Loz a lift back to her place. Tim will have his motorbike with him so he won't need one.
Loz offered to cook me dinner this evening, which works out beautifully for two reasons, one: I had no idea what I was going to eat, and two: I'll never say no to free food :D

Tomorrows the last night [for the term] of small group. so we'll be doing pizza and all that Jazz, should be fun. We've finally started getting more blokes along, which is awesome. 6 guys and 7 girls last week, very cool.

Anywhooo, hopefully that should keep Belle from nagging me for a little while :P I finally blogged!
that all you wanted to know girl? Life stuff?
Anything else, let me know...I'll blog upon request too! :P [the things I do for a pretty face like that!]
